Erm, well… Keri has a new song and video out…

Talk about downgrading yourself. This video is not good. Its not sexy, rather sleazy. Then again you guys may enjoy watching her whine all over the place with pratically nothing on but I lost a bit of respect for her after watching that vid. And i dont understand the wasted cameo appearances from Faith Evans, JoJo, Dawn (Dirty money), Columbus Short and im sure i saw Lloyd and obviously Rick Ross ¬_¬. Storylines a bit dumb too, but i assume it shall be explained in another video (it says to be continued)

As for the song, there is nothing good about it. NOTHING at all. the beat, the lyrics, content. its just pure nonsense. I dunno what she was thinking to be honest. smh. To go from songs like ‘Intuition’ and ‘Energy’ to this? Its a damn shame.

Thank Me Later

So Drakes HIGHLY anticipated album has finally been released! Unfortunately it got leaked (kmt at you people for that), but i made sure i never listened to a SINGLE track posted on facebook or twitter because i wanted to go out and buy it. Why? Because he is worth my money. I rarely say that, a lot of people in the music industry don’t deserve my £9.99, so when i make the effort to buy something, its a big deal.

Having listened to Drakes previous mixtapes, he has quickly become one of my fav artists, so this album was a big deal for me. So anyway, Monday the 14th of June, i went and purchased the album.

Verdict : 8.5/10. I actually love the album, compared to a lot of albums that have come out recently, this had a majority of quality tracks on it. I dont think he should have put “best i ever had” on it, but thats all the criticism i can give. On the first listen, you’ll pick out 2 or 3 good tracks, but after a few listens, the songs grow on you. I didnt like “fancy” at first, but i definitely love it now. Its one of them albums you dont have to skip a track. you could sit there and listen to EVERY tune happily.I’ve had it on repeat for the last 2 days lol.

What annoyed me, is people comparing his album to Eminems new album (which also got leaked. smh). Saying Eminems album is Better than drakes. I haven’t listened to Em’s album, but if its not better, he should be worried. This is Eminems SEVENTH album, it should be better than drakes FIRST album. you cannot compare the two albums together. People are comparing drakes album to other people who have made multiple albums and mixtapes, and have been in the game longer than him. All those people SHOULD be better.

Also people were saying they expected better from the album; that was your OWN expectations, the album is still great. I do agree however, that his mixtapes were better. But this is still a quality album, and one of the best i’ve heard all year, and even last year.

Rate him for the fact that he’s made such an impact BEFORE his album release. Thats a rarity in music these days. People love to criticise, but you can’t please everyone i guess. Either way, its definitely an album you NEED to own. So you can Thank Him Now; go and BUY it. (yes buy, stop being cheap and downloading. Yes, this is coming from me, but i dont care, go hmv now!)
