Big Man Zest released his debut single ‘Who I Am’ on 31.01.11 and continues to establish himself as a multi talented universal artist with his latest track “Living My Life”

A tribute song of survival which Big Man Zest dedicates to “Workers, Hustlers and Straight Money Makers” Living My Life is an infectious hip hop grime influenced track produced by Scottie B - Award Winning DJ, MTV Base/Choice FM Presenter, Mobo & UMA Nominee, Gold Selling Album Producer. Featuring Shaun White one half of the hit duo Fr3e, Shaun is know for his unique style and flows, expressed through his melodic hooks & catchy lyrics and Jaja Soze (PDC), Jaja a critically acclaimed artist within the rap scene and one of the UK’s best loved lyricists.

On 9th June 2011 “Living My Life” was exclusively premiered by BBC 1xtra’sTim Westwood. Living My Life a street anthem is set to cause havoc on the airwaves. 

Big Man Zest’s talent is endless refusing to neither limit himself nor be labeled by one genre, Big Man Diaries the EP is to be released Summer 2011, stay tuned for the Living My Life video scheduled to be released July 2011.

But what really irritated me about this article was this paragraph. Let me dissect it for you.

Elizabeth Woolley, who set up Online Gamers Anonymous after her son Shawn committed suicide because of his addiction to online games, said it was time governments stepped in and did something about the ever-growing habit. Erm…What has the government got to do with YOUR child’s’ gaming addiction? Oh yeah, the government provided the PS3 and X-box, and money to buy games didn’t they? Kmt don’t vex me please.

“Until governments around the world recognise it’s a problem, it’s just going to keep getting worse and worse in terms of murders and crimes caused by excessive and obsessive online game play,” she said. Again, the government has WHAT to do with YOUR childs obsession? Your child sits upstairs all day after school and all night playing games in your house, how can the government stop this? Are you not capable of taking away the consoles, disciplining your kids and taking away their means of finance to purchase these games? Cos the government is not giving your kids the money yano (unless your on benefits, but you shouldn’t even be spending that money on games anyway!). I don’t understand how the government can control the way in which your child is exposed and ALLOWED to play games to such an excessive amount. Please, enlighten me. What can they do?

“It’s exactly like drugs or alcohol – once people get addicted, they feel they have to have it. There are always certain people who will get addicted to a drug, and in gaming we estimate it’s about 20% to 30% of people.” The difference with drugs and alcohol is the fact that these substances contain chemicals which makes the user addicted to them. What chemical is being released through controller pads and keyboards please? I’ve played games before, and I have never been addicted to them so much that it was my life (OK, fair enough i was addicted to The Sims [who isn't though?] and dreamt about it, but that’s besides the point. I didn’t blame the government for it neither did my parents.)

As a parent, if you see your child is becoming far too dependant on their gaming life, TAKE IT AWAY. Its not that hard. How can they play games without the console? How can they play games when they are grounded and not allowed to go out and play games at friends houses/arcades/internet cafes? How can they play games if they don’t have money? Don’t try and blame the government, they do not hold your hand and your childs hand through life. Accept the responsibility of being a parent and do something about it. Stop waiting for the government to put restrictions on your child when you can do it yourself. Silly muggles.

The choreography in this is amazing though. Thats my main appeal when it comes to Beyonce’s videos. The dancing in her videos is always brilliant. And frankly, she looks hot (move aside Rihanna). Guys, if you don’t like watching the video then… you must be gay lol.

Visually, I love this video, however as a comeback (well not comeback, she never left, but you know what I mean) video and song, she could have done SO much better, i expected a lot more. But its not THAT bad, everyone’s a bit tooo critical. (yes this is coming from me, but again, im allowed to say what i like lol )

I’m loving this tune, I’ve missed Drake, cannot wait to hear some new songs from him and a new album! Wayne sounds different in this, better! I’m glad he’s off this high pitched screeching thing he’s been on. I hope it stays! And yeah… Rick Ross says stuff… Take a listen

What kinna nastiness is this please? It is NOT Ok to be sleeping with your father. Its not. You KNOW he is your dad, and yet, you are having a sexual relationship with him? Are you Ok in your head? Explain to me how, you can look at your CHILD in such ways? It is just perversion on allll levels, and they cannot see what is wrong? Someone needs to sit down with these people and make them question their life, because this is NOT LIVING!  And to make matters worse, she wants to have kids with him! *lawd god!* I’m not even too sure i like the world im living in if this is the kinna nastiness occuring. smdh…

Anyone who knows me, follows me on  twitter, has me on facebook or bbm will know of  battle with higher education. I REALLY hate Uni. With a passion. Being there just makes me so angry, upset, frustrated and annoyed. And yet, i am still here. I have never enjoyed uni, since the moment i started. But i thought, “let me just wait a few months, i might start to enjoy it”. I was wrong. I’m at the end of my second year and I hate it just the same. Yet, i still haven’t left.

To me, i don’t think university is 100% necessary. If I had known how irrelevant uni would be for me, i would have never bothered going. I think i felt pressured into going to uni. What would i be able to do with my life if i didn’t? I also felt my parents and family expected me to go to uni as that’s just the next step in life after college isn’t it? When i think about what i want to do in life, i don’t think being at university helps me any more than if i just went straight to work after college. With my career path, work experience is equally, if not more important than a degree. I wish i had known this three years ago!

I am spending over £3000 a year on tuition fees (let me not even mention how much i have to pay back in student loan fees on top of that kmt!) doing self directed learning.I am paying £3225 a year to TEACH MYSELF. That’s ultimately what i am doing. I honestly cannot say i have learnt anything since being here. I’m not sure if that’s because of the uni i go to, or just the course i am doing in general (however I am pretty certain it is because of my uni). Basically, it feels like iam paying for access to a library and a few guest lectures a year. Its just a waste of money.

It is also common knowledge that the employment world is not how it should be, although it is getting better, finding a job in your chosen career path is ridiculously difficult. So there is the simple fact that I may leave university with a degree but end up in a meaningless job just so I can pay bills and live. On top of that, in my chosen career path, it is likely i will have to intern (unpaid) for a few years to get higher on the career ladder. I cannot afford to be working for free, and finding a paid job in my field is a lot harder than i thought it would have been! So i could potentially be wasting three years of my life, and a ridiculous amount of money for nothing. As pessimistic as that sounds, that’s just how i feel. And yet, i am still enrolled.

Also, the fact that I hate writing essays, working in groups, doing coursework, hand ins etc doesn’t really go well with the uni life does it lol. I really do not understand why i am still here? Maybe im scared i’ll become a failure if i do leave.

I guess i’m also hoping that my degree (if i pass that is) will benefit me, and that I’ll leave uni and land the ideal job (HA!). Or that my degree will help me get into my other fields of interest. It also burns my heart and soul that i have wasted two years to just go and quit and achieve nothing from this. That would ultimately be the biggest waste of time (and most importantly, money) wouldn’t it? I’m still in deep thoughts about this, no decision has been made yet, but i best start making some soon!

In life we must do things we don’t like  in order to move forward and become successful, right? :/

I don’t keep up with Nicki so I have no idea where this song is from, i presume she has a new album on the way. But you’re better off getting that info from one of her barbs or Nickiesbians lol. I like the song though, Its catchy, not very young money sounding though. and quite “pop” but it’ll do well. Most people should love the video, there are some hotties (male and female) in this. Basically, i want Nicki to give me her figure (i don’t care if its fake lol) she looks hot lol.
